Do I have to be in full time employment to get a mortgage?
All of the following can be used for mortgage purposes.
-
Employment income (full-time, part-time or self employed)
-
Pension income
-
Investment income
-
Rental income
-
Maintenance payments
Do I need a deposit?
Not necessarily as 100% mortgages are now commonplace. Providing you have a
good credit rating, the chances are you’ll qualify for this type of mortgage.
I have a poor credit rating. Can I still get a mortgage?
Much depends on the extent of your adverse credit. However,
providing you have a deposit of at least 10% of the purchase price, we are
confident that a lender would consider your application.
I have debt. Can you still get me a mortgage?
Yes we can. Providing your existing credit commitments and your new monthly
mortgage payments remain affordable and within your budget, we should be able
to help.
I retire soon. Can I still get a mortgage?
Yes you can. All you have to do is prove that you have the income to
maintain the mortgage payments past retirement.
Can I buy a property with someone else?
Yes you can. Many of our customers use a family member or a friend to
provide financial support.
Do you arrange Buy-to-Let mortgages?
Yes we do. We offer a full advisory service.
Apart from mortgages, what else do you do?
We are happy to arrange your Life Assurance, Critical Illness Cover, Family
Income Protection, Permanent Health Insurance, Building & Contents
Insurance as well as Solicitors.
Do you charge a fee?
PMH are independent mortgage advisors. We can be paid by commission or a fee currently £1000. Please see our intinial disclosure document (IDD) for further details. We are happy to discuss which option is best suited to you.
